in #retail6 years ago

Toys R Us is facing collapse, the have a huge tax bill to pay and there are 3200 jobs on the line. Deutsche Bank is laying off 500 people right after bonuses. The central bankers are getting very worried and they are trying to make the case that cryptocurrency will not be able to handle the next financial crisis. Are the central bankers foreshadowing the next crisis, are they preparing to push the crisis forward to make sure the crypto market is not used as the next currency of the people.

HASHGRAPH ????
Hi Dave, I'm a little old lady in Brisbane Australia & I heavily rely on your reports to help keep me up to date, SANE !!! and PREPARED.
I am cursed/blessed with a very clever mind so I am able to cross check your reasoning behind your analyses .. the unfolding of events which your analyses predict also 'proves' the rigour of your analyses .. A thousand million thank yous ...
HASHGRAPH ... My understanding is that the HASHGRAPH system of information management is vastly superior - quicker, cheaper, more secure, anonymous/private, accurate, etc - than any blockchain systems of information management ........... I would greatly value your opinion.
Sure, it's not open source but I for one would be willing to pay a patent-use fee rather than struggle with the interminable & extremely costly problems Bitcoin has in all these areas ...... ?
Patently, until we have an alternative currency which can out perform our present basket of options, it won't be adopted.
I own a little bit of Bitcoin, so I'm fervently hoping that it will go up to $100,000 BUT I'm wondering if a better alternative will have come along before that ???

Bitcoin can scale perfectly fine with big enough blocks. On a data centre connection, you can sync the entire chain in 10minutes. Bitcoin cash can scale to be a world currency with out issue. People are slowly starting to realise that Blockstream intentionally broke BTC with 1MB blocks to give crypto a bad name and try and make people think that they cannot scale and be used globally. This is still going to happen and the people still have a chance to buy some BCH at a reasonably low price. There are probably better coins than even BCH, but it has the infrastructural and all the mining rigs etc already out there, everything that runs on BTC and much much more can use BCH network instead. With SPV wallets and most businesses running full nodes for 0conf transactions, we can move to a totally decentralised peer to peer cash system that cannot be manipulated and governed by central banks.

Hashgraph neither requires not permits mining or centralized exchanges. It's as much more capable than blockchain based cryptos as cryptos are paper bills. The evolution of technology accelerates, and the rate of acceleration accelerates. This makes investing in technology alarmingly transitory, as technological disruptions continually change paradigms.

Scams like one mb blocks are relics of historical technological limits. They're simply incapable of harming folks availed of hashgraph ledgers.

Check it out, and consider what may come next. Strategic adaptation is the key to success in interesting times.

The problem with proprietary software isn't royalty fees, although such are a drag on overall productivity, as much as security. Given the surveillance state that is wrapping it's tentacles across the world, I am extremely reluctant to allow 'black box' software to retain it's historic command of my communications.

Were hashgraph to move to an open source ideology, even while maintaining the IP royalty scheme, I'd be much more certain it will change the world.

For a little old lady, you're certainly abreast of cutting edge technology =)

I do hope that the transition occurs very soon, we have to quit giving our power to some inexperienced people that likes to gamble with our money, and thus, we have to pay for their mistakes.

I thought that Toys R Us was already dead. They've been in and out of bankruptcy for quite a while now. It's pretty sad, I got my Atari 2600 from them...

Thank You Dave, Good report,

Thanks for the report

I can wait for the central banks go out of business and that we take control of the system. Very interesting time that we are living.

Crypto is what the Central Planners want, you have to see this? It's total control, it's NOT going to be total freedom... Then you'll have your chip, in your phone in the beginning and then probably under you skin...
