Present glimpses of Kerala Flood:

The Union home ministry of India has declared the flood a "calamity of severe nature". Several efforts for the restoration of essential services are going on parallel with relief and rescue operation in Kerala, where at least a thousand of people are still stranded at five villages around Chengannur - a town in Alappuzha. Phone connectivity has been restored in 90 percent of the State. There is enough fuel and animal fodder according to the authority. Floodwater has started receding in some areas. Deficiency of clean drinking water and diseases due to mosquito infestation, especially in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi , have become a big concern. The state's water authority and electricity board are trying to restore supply of water and electricity in areas that have been without power and tap water for several days.

Commercial flight operations started from the navy airstrip in Kochi . Trains started running between state capital Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam, 200 km away. Relief material from across the country has started arriving by ship to Cochin port. Fresh and pure water is being ferried on two barges to the affected areas. Drones are being used to assist in reaching people trapped in areas which are not easily accessible.
The water level due to flood has not come down in several areas of the worst-hit Alappuzha , Thrissur, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, and Kollam districts, news agency Press Trust of India reported this.

Present key concerns:

The threat of disease is now a key concern of the region , given the lack of clean drinking water. Animal carcasses and mosquitoes raise have become the most risks. The health ministry has set up 3,700 medical camps across the state and put six specialized medical teams on standby mode.

Present Needs:

The state will demand a ₹2600 Crore of MGNREGA special package for Central Government scheme schemes. There is a huge need for ready-to-eat cooked food, doctors and nurses in Kerala. There is also requirement of skilled workers like plumbers, electricians and carpenters to come to make people's homes livable.

Hats off to them...

See how good relationship works, the credit also goes to our Honorable Prime Minister 🙏🙏

He is really working well to make good relationship.....

Yes of course.....he has done a great job.

He had started developing our foreign policies as soon as he came to power.

That's why he used to visit foreign countries many times. Opponents threw mud over this issue.

I am very sympathetic to those who are in a very bad situation.
