Certainly the restaurant managers will have to select their staff very well to avoid similar acts in the future.

However, it is not easy to intervene when it is an isolated case, perhaps of some mentally unbalanced person or someone who wanted revenge for something.

This was not a mistake in the kitchen, the batteries were put in on purpose I imagine.
