Dear Caleb W.,

Where are you? You seem to have disappeared! Did you misunderstand Chef to mean you should go home when she said, "Hey Caleb go to the bathroom really quick and then come back so that Peter can go on his break." ? (Chef's English can be difficult to understand at times and it would certainly be understandable if you thought she meant for you to hang your apron on the emergency lever near the men's restroom and leave out the side door without clocking out.)

We wouldn't normally be worried about something like this but in this case we are concerned that you seemed to have obtained this misunderstanding only minutes after having been issued your paycheck! This, plus the fact that we have made repeated attempts to contact you via phone and text message has us worried and we can only be hopeful we have erroneously concluded that you have definitely misunderstood Chef. It is either this or you were abducted by aliens or maybe sucked down into the methane void via our swooshy toilet in the men's room.

It certainly can't be that you, like Chad F. couldn't hack it and have decided to seek employment elsewhere. That just doesn't seem possible to me.
