Chewwy the rescue dog.

Chewwy entered our lives on valentines day four years ago, he was eight. We met him and is brother at a dog rescue center called Dogs Trust (Leeds, UK)
He was called Chunky, was overweight and very neglected - his fur was in mats and his teeth were rotten, despite this his personality still shined through it all. It's amazing how dogs just want to give love no matter the abuse they endure.

We got him groomed, I cant begin to imagine the feeling he must have gone through as those mats pulling at his skin were carefully shaved off. He had his teeth worked on with several removed. (Spoiler photo of his rescue brother - Clarence)

Over the many months we worked on his weight , losing around half his body weight.

These days he's a big fluff ball waiting for the groomers to open for a trim, his favorite thing in life is his teddies. He has a collection of about 8. They go on every adventure with him wherever he goes, he is very lost without them.
