RES is a new energy era

Technotec is a company operating in the oil and gas sector, it provides services aimed at increasing the efficiency of oil production. However, we understand the importance of introducing alternative energy. Especially when, as we wrote in previous posts, the world is on the verge of a fourth energy revolution.

Changes in the energy sector are a natural process, the transition to RES (renewable energy sources)is as natural as the transition to the use of oil, coal, gas.

Of course, in the future we will also try to expand our services in order to be useful in the development of renewable energy for our customers and partners. Now we are constantly watching how trends in this area continue to change in the world, and how, for example, the coal industry (by the way, the most unsafe for the environment) is giving way to renewable energy.

Just last Wednesday in Australia, more than 50% of energy was received from renewable energy sources. The record was held for 10 minutes, but it’s a big achievement in percentage and a historic moment for Australia, which gets most of its electricity from coal.

Last Wednesday, RES was able to provide 50.2% of electricity consumption in five States-Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. Where 23.7% were for rooftop solar panels, 15.7% for wind, 8.8% for large solar power plants and 1.9% for hydroelectric power plants.

Such an impressive example proves that the most interesting discoveries are waiting for us! And energy is just beginning to develop in a new perspective direction.
