Each generation has its struggles with housing, job shortages and recessions just to name a few. However, other than those in conflict impacted countries, I don't think many of us who have been born since 1945 can really appreciate what has been given up by so many so we can live through these humps and bumps in our existence. Saying that I'm guilty of forgetting how truly lucky I am on many occasions and strive to not forget more often.
