Verse 11

Now these people were more noble and open-minded than those in Thessalonica, so they received the message [of salvation through faith in the Christ] with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

They were indeed more honourable and noble for they didn't just receive the gospel with eagerness, but also searched the scriptures to see if those things were so.

Hear me, it is not enough to receive God's word with eagerness, you need a personal study of God's word to be established, only then will you be able to rightly divide the Word of Truth.
