God Is Always with us

There was a knock on the door, and the children trembled in fear.
"Hush ,my darling! "comforted their mother."The lord is with us,and we have nothing to fear!"

It was a tough time for the family who lived in a small New Youk apartment.Their father had passed away suddenly ,leaving his window to struggle for herself and three small children.He had left no savings,and the family was thrown into poverty,from their comfortable lifestyle.

The window had very little money-but she had strong faith in the Lord.

She instilled the quality of trust in her children,telling them again and again,"Trust in the Lord !He will never forsake us.
"To earn her livelihood, she rented a sewing machine ,working at night with a dim light to pay for her children´s food and education .
She kept the family going,as best as the could.

But now ,it was the end of the month.She found that she had no money left to pay for the rent of her sewing machine.Only the previous day,the rent collector had warned her that the machine would be taken away if she did not pay the rent within 24hours.

And now, here was a knock on the door!There was not a cent at home.What could the mother do?What would happen to the family if the sewing machine was taken away ?

The children trembled in fear."God will always provide for our needs,"their mother had said.Where was He now?

The mothet opened the door.On the steps stood a stranger,with a baby in his arms.

He spoke urgently ,"Madam ,I need your help very badly!My wife has fallen ill and had to be admitted to a hospital.There is no one at home to look after the baby.We have just moved into the neightbourhood,and people told us that you are the right person to take care of the baby in the absence of her mother.We will pay you
$10an hour .Will you please look after our baby?"

The mother stretched our her hands to received the baby.

She then raised her eyes to heaven ,as she said,"Oh,God!Wonderful are the ways,They will never forsake They own children".
