RELIGIOUS  VALUES:

          It is one of the religious place of Nepal and contain a lot of social values and norms. Especially,it is the most important place for Buddhist people in all over the world.  On 15 November 2014  AD,Buddhist International Conference was held in Lumbini. In that conference many Buddhist scholars had attended from more than 30 nations of the world.

HISTORICAL VALUES:

          Similarly, It contain a lot of historical memories. It is the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha.Different Monastery,stupas,pilgrims, etc had been made inside large area of Lumbini. Ashoka Pillar was made by the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka of north India during his visit to Lumbini.

Conservation of Lumbini:

          As it is a Religious pride for not only Nepal but for world it is being conserved by UNESCO. Lumbini was entered into list of World Heritage Site in 1997 AD. As well as different National law is being implemented for the conservation of Lumbini.
