"We love him, because he first loved us." (1 John 4,19)

The Bibel clearly shows, that we would not even be able to love him, if he not first would have loved us. The whole gospel is about God reconciling us to himself (it's all initially from him. Salvation is all about what God did for you and not what you did for him.

But he nevertheless hates all sin and with that also all sinners who do not repent. He has to hate them and eventually destroy them because there wicked heart would only cause harm to his fellow man in the long run. Heaven would not be heaven when it would be full of disobedience.

“The LORD tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence” (Psalm 11:5)

So does God loves you if you are a disbeliving sinner? ABSOLUTELY

And does God hates you when you are a disbeliving sinner? ABSOLUTELY

How is that possible?
The Bibel knows some different kinds of love. He bestow his godly love (like a parents love) also on you as his creature, no matter what you do, but he does not love a rebellious sinner the same way as he loves someone who seeks for righteousness.

What about when you are seeking him / seeking for righteousness but do not love him yet because you don't know him yet?
God sees your heart. And he does everything he can
to also win your heart.

Yes He does. Christ died for us while WE were yet sinners. It's not about your/our goodness. It's about His goodness covering our evil hearts through His shed blood. But you have to believe that it's true and real.
