Encouraging Words
Daniel 3:16
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
We, people of God, we do not defend ourselves because we have a Defender. This is what the Hebrew boys said. The lives of believers in both Old Testament and New Testament testify that being faithful to God does not eliminate adversity.
We should recognize that it may be a sign of being faithful to God. The three men said we are not here to defend ourselves because we have our Defender. We cannot use the weapons of the enemy to defend ourselves.
When our faith is tested, our endurance has a chance to grow. Adversity can also build you up and strengthen your faith. This is the moment of coming back. Dream again, that is, draw greater plans in the name of Jesus.

I agree with you that adversity can also build you up and strengthen your faith. Most pastors in America do not preach on the blessings of suffering for the sake of Christ's name. Although many Christians around the world are experiencing persecution, many of us in the U.S.A. are not spiritually or mentally prepared for what may be on the horizon. Thank you for your statement, "When (not if) our faith is tested."

The just shall live by faith alone. And our trust, our faith, our action, stems from what we believe. James talks about it. 1 Corinthians 13 talks about love which is a fruit of the faith of living for Christ.
