Sometimes it’s not so clear what the Jesus wants. What with all the abortion miracles he performs on women to protect us from future Hitlers.

Take the following passage:

Mathew 13:44-46
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

As an obvious avid reader of the Bible, I’ve probably read these lines a hundred times. It took some time to realize that the words were directing the faithful to unburden themselves with all of their material goods, and once they had, they would see all the benefits of the kingdom of Heaven.

Send me your money and your resources will do double the work. You’ll be getting yourself into Heaven, and helping me spread the word to help get others into Heaven! Your wealth becomes the wealth of all simply by sending it to me.
