God?

in #religion8 years ago (edited)

I have a simple theory of why we can't understand theories like Big Bang or even the existence of "God" or whatever.

You probably heard of this question before: "If there's actually a God, who created Him? And who created the guy that created God?" And so on..
That's the point of my theory: IT DOES NOT HAVE TO HAVE A START!!!

We can see a lot of movies and cartoons that show us an immortal person, monster or whatever, but have you ever tried to think about something that had no start at all?

Maybe it's confusing now and maybe we have no knowledge to understand this kind of thing right now, but I, Renê Manzano, think that when we are able to understand this, we'll also be able to understand the real meaning of life and probably answer the question:

Is God dead?

Sort:

You are exactly right. God created Einsteinian spacetime and is not constrained by those puny four dimensions. Having a "beginning" is a spacetime concept.

It is pointless for science to speculate about what lies outside that because the only way to know is if it is revealed to us from outside.

This has happened, but most would prefer to deny it because it means giving up being in charge of their own fate.

But there are things much better than that that they will lose by doing so.

Excellent answer man!

That's the point of my theory: IT DOES NOT HAVE TO HAVE A START!!!

God is Santa Claus for Grown Ups.

Everything always existed

What if don't even us exist? What if we are just the subproduct of a brilliant mind?
Hahaha this is so midblow man!

When scientists took apart the atom, we found an immense supply of energy that resulted in massive destruction. Will we ever understand everything? probably not... But who knows what's going to happen when scientists start taking apart things smaller than the atom and building antimatter...

You have a good point!
Antimatter is something that I, personally, love to know about! They're an insane source of subject and we can learn SO much about our universe with antimatter!
But yeah, the discoveries that we can get after taking apart smaller things are unthinkable!

My question is: were there times, when there was nothing? I don't think so. I think always was something. And ours world started from a big bang. Before big bang was something etc.etc...

Yeah man, I think in a much similar way..
But in order to understand life and universe, we must not think as humans, we have to think in an completely abstract way.
If we want to understand if there was anything before the big bang, we have to analize every detail and we have to analyze it with ancient and abstract eyes..
Understand what I'm trying to say? Can be a little confusing, but in my mind makes sense kkk
