The Power of Religion Divides Us as a Society, as a Humans!

Instead of becoming a better place to live, the world is going in a wrong direction. Poverty, Wars and Separation.
The saddest thing is, that the Religion is playing an important role there.

People look towards Religion to inspire, guide and bring hope. Some practices are doing more harm than good. Religion divides us in multiple ways specifically Race and Gender and social class.

If religion is so great, why has it started so many wars?

Why does it build huge Churches, Mosques and other religious temples, but fails to feed the poor and to bring a peace?

Where will this lead us, are we going backwards?

My thoughts are, if there is no Religion, this world could be a better place for all of us.

More and more people are losing faith in God and don't believe in it anymore.

I would like to hear opinions from a Religious people, if there is a God, why all these bad things are happening and never stopping?
