Dating back to more than 5000 years ago in the famous war of mahabharata {the war between the pandavas and kauravas}when Arjun was stuck emotionally ....since he was faced with the dilemma of going to battle with his own relatives, teachers and acquaintances,he he sought the help of Krishna.
This famous piece
of advice from Krishna to Arjuna on the philosophy of life is recorded in the ancient scripture as Bhagvat Gita.
The book describes the true meaning of religion and faith. The message in the book applies to the entire human race .

Today I am going to share some of the quotes from
this great book,as the deity himself said,“I give you these precious words of wisdom; reflect on them and then do as you choose.”
SAYINGS OF BHAGVAD GITA:
1.When a person is devoted to something with complete faith, I unify his faith in that. Then, when his faith his completely unified, he gains the object of his devotion.

2.No one who does good work will ever come to a bad end, either here or in the world to come.

  1. A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return.

4.Neither in this world nor elsewhere is there any happiness in store for him who always doubts.

5.Whatever happened was good, what’s happening, it’s going well, whatever will happen, will also be good. You need not have any regrets from the past. Do not worry for the future. Live in the present.

6.The soul is never born nor dies at any time. Soul has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. Soul is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. Soul is not slain when the body is slain.

7.Sri Krishna said: You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.

8.Whenever and wherever there is a decline in virtue/religious practice, O Arjuna, and a predominant rise of irreligion—at that time I descend Myself the Lord of the universe, i.e. I manifest Myself as an embodied being.

9.Hell has three hates: lust, anger and greed.

10.The man who sees me in everything
and everything within me
will not be lost to me, nor
will I ever be lost to him.

He who is rooted in oneness
realizes that I am
in every being; wherever
he goes, he remains in me.

When he sees all being as equal
in suffering or in joy
because they are like himself,
that man has grown perfect in yoga.

9.Hell has three hates: lust, anger and greed. I think a lot of people came to steemit because of greed to be honest.

no doubt that's very much true
