According to some estimates, there are roughly 4,200 religions in the world. Religion is some belief or faith you have with the god or god like entity (i.e Mysterious supernatural phenomenon). Have you ever wonder how religion came into existence? What its source was for existence. How it evolved , and How it reached the way it is. There are many theories about how religion was started.

Evolution of Religion
The religion that we follow did not started as it was now. It is constantly evolving through time. Religion starts with the small faith and belief. Evolving it to become a life style. Many religion people follow because it is the tradition of their family. Changing from one religion to another is not easy as one think . It needs the change of belief , lifestyle and faith of person as a whole. Person needs to transform himself completely for changing the religion.
Atheism is the absence of belief on gods and deities. Though they don't believe on god. They might believe in science , evolution , and have other faith. That faith itself can be called as a religion.
Reason for evolution of religion
- Moral code and belief on righteous
- Supernatural phenomenon that can't be apprehended by human knowledge
- Activities performed as a sacred and existences of sacred place.
- Prayer and other form of communication
- Finally, but not list the existence of historical event based on god.
