Today I would like to look at 1 Thessalonians 5 verses 16 to 18
16)"Be joyful always,
17)pray at all times,
18)be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants for from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus.
Our joy, thankfulness and continuous prayers must not be dependent on our circumstances or emotions. We always need to remember that what ever happens to us God is in control and one day we will be saved.
The picture below speaks a 1000 word and touched my heart. The picture was taken in Cambodia. These people make a living from a rubbish dump and still the little boy smiles and is thankful for the small piece of food that was thrown away by other people.
All of us that read this message has a lot to be thankful off, if we compare our circumstances with the people on the photo.
