Today I would like to look at 1 Peter 5 verse 8 to 9
8)Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9)Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
If we know that our enemy is on the prowl like a roaring we will not be laid back. The devil is the enemy, that we must resist, and we resist him through faith in Jesus Christ. We must focus on Jesus Christ and resist the devil and then he will leave us alone.
