Today I would like to look at 2 Corinthians 12 verse 10
10)I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
If we are strong, and we are able to accomplish a lot and we have almost unlimited resources, it is easy for us to get into the temptation to think that we can do God's work on our own and that we don't need God. This can lead to haughtiness. If we however recognize our weakness, it happens that God fills us with His power and then we become more powerful than what we would have been on our own. We must always depend on God. The work we do in His power will be effective and have a lasting effect.

Great point made. When life is going smoothly with no major problems, it is easy to forget about my own weakness and dependence on God. But as soon as I have a major problem or concern, I am humbly brought back to asking for help from Him, the provider.
