Daily Scripture
Today I would like to look at Galatians 3 verse 22
22)But the scripture says that the whole world is under the power of sin; and so the gift which is promised on the basis of faith in Jesus Christ is given to those who believe.
The law is the norm that God gave to receive acquittal, but because we are all sinners we cannot receive acquittal on our own. The only way we can be acquitted is by believing Jesus Christ paid for our sins on the cross, and in so doing we will receive the gift of eternal life.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Soli Deo Gloria
I hear a lot of non-believers say things like the OT and NT are not congruent, and in the Old there was a set of "silly" rules, that no one could follow, and no one should follow, and then in the NT we see a complete reversal where the rules are softer, or something.
First I couldn't disagree with that idea more, because Jesus was very firm that the old rules weren't taken far enough. Matthew 5:29, if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out...
So its clear from Jesus teachings that behaviour matters HOWEVER, Not as a means to securing our own salvation. Salvation only comes through faith in Him who could earn that salvation for you/me, whjo .
Matthew 5:17
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them.
I used to wonder what he meant by fulfill, and I still do not fully get it, but it seems to me that its like this:
I dont know if that helps anyone, and maybe its just for me, but I certainly find discussing, writing and thinking scripture is the best way for me to wrap my head around it, so thanks for this opportunity.
Blessings.
You have said it very well, it is exactly as you said, we cannot earn our salvation, but Jesus lived a sinless life and paid for our sins. Thank you for the great comment.
Amen boss

Thank you very much for the nice comment.
@rynow sir....
Christ came that his people might have eternal life, with more abundant evidence of it than was under the former dispensation, and have stronger faith in it, and a more lively hope of it: or, as the words may be rendered, "and that they might have an abundance": besides life, might have an abundance of grace from Christ, all spiritual blessings in him now, and all fulness of joy, glory, and happiness hereafter.
Thank you so much for the very nice comment
Amen
Aimeen Allah huma aimeen
Thank you.
All of us make mistakes. The key is to acknowledge them, learn, and move on. The real sin is ignoring mistakes, or worse, seeking to hide them.
Amen.
Oh, yes, only faith in God and in his sacrifice for us, should move us. Amen! Peace to your home Gloria!
Amen.
always be fooled by education @rynow.
good day.
Thank you.
