The Final Word, Chapter 4

Behold, I shall show you the Son of Man. In his suffering and dying, He lives. He lives solely and utterly in the name of others. He gazes upon those around Him and goes down upon the cross. From the wood, He rules. For to serve is to rule.

The suffering and dying Servant of the Lord shall live within our hearts as well. He shall live and die within us, again and again. And, within the living and dying shall arise a Judge, who will call us to His Throne. And next to the Throne shall sit the Son of Man. He shall judge in the name of the many, but shall select only the few. For only they shall be worthy enough to gather the lost sheep. Only they shall be worthy enough to be called shepherds. When the Son of Man dies before us, only the few shall recognize Him, and only the few shall know that He died for the many, and sends out the few to beyond space and time, to fetch the lost sheep, wherever they may roam.
