The Final Word, Chapter 11

I shall tell you the story of those who watch over us. Those who watch over us welcome those who do onto others as they would have done onto themselves. Those who watch over us welcome those who look upon others with the same eyes as they would look upon themselves. Those who watch over us welcome those who say to themselves with the voices of others.

But those who watch over us do not welcome those who only look towards themselves. Those who watch over us do not welcome those who solely act as if he is the only soul on this planet. Those who watch over us do not weldome those who seek only themselves in this world.

We ourselves are the world, and we need to turn away from ourselves and the world and embrace Him. For He shows us the way away from this world. This world is not something to be desired, for it is ruled by the morning star, the evil one, who fills our heads with an endless array of desires and wants and needs. To deny those desires and wants and needs is to take the first step in the battle against the evil one.
