In the loving memory of my grandmother
Tonight we are sitting together in grandma s house
Here we are gathered to form the union of a family who lost their beloved mom and grandmother and sister, a year has passed, and from my humble position i have made a video on YouTube talking about her and her good deeds...
We as Muslims celebrate by the means of shariaa, the Thursday of the descessed and after 40 days also and the anniversary after a year from the date of her death...
Reading quoran, some mourn some don't... But as it's says in Islam that it's irrelevant to mourn longer than 3days.
May Allah accepts her with his mercy and forgiveness, and Allah is the most blessed we glorify him with his most blessed names.
God have mercy on her soul AMEN.
I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my grandmother last week, and her funeral was yesterday. It was a Catholic service, and the first Catholic funeral I've ever been to. I love to learn about different faiths and customs, so thank you for sharing your culture and tradition!
