In my childhood they told me about God, who is our creator and who had a son who died for all of us called Jesus and this story, they taught me to pray, to ask God and to be a good person,
but as I grew and studied human history, I came to the conclusion that all religions despite having a similar story, was different in different regions thus prevailing the most powerful and the perfect example we have in Europe where religions such as those adopted by the Vikings in their epochs are now mythology as well as Greek mythology all this due to the Roman Empire that dominated all of Europe for over 700 years and which ended up adopting Christianity since it could not with the persecution of it, For those who do not know, bear in mind that the Christian churches were burned, those who professed the Christian religion were persecuted and their patrimony was confiscated, but could not with them, they were more and more believers and the empire had no choice but to adopt Christianity as a religion and forget their ancient cults.

What I want to achieve with this is that we are believers because they have been made to believe us, what makes Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and other mythologies different? Only one prevailed in Europe, Asia and Africa. And the American continent is becoming Christian because of European colonization, these are things that have affected history and have taken us to what we are living now.
That's why I wonder

Why are we believers or followers of a religion?

Possibly because they were instilled in us as children, but it depends a lot on the place where we are born, it doesn't matter if you are now a religious faithful and blindly believe in your religion, if you are a Christian and you were not born in America (let's say) and you were born in Asia surely a believer of another religion.

From my point of view it doesn't take a religion to be a spiritual person, it's something we must know, we are here because we are part of the universe, we are life and we are all equal, nothing differentiates us, we must leave behind the things that divide us such as ideologies, religions, borders, we are all equal and in some way we are all connected, we must leave the ego and stop thinking as individuals and begin to think as a species, as humans, we have only one house and call it Earth, but even so we disrespect it, polluted with our waste, having absurd wars for interests that benefit a region, we must leave aside the things that divide us, such as religions, absurd idelogies, borders, etc.. we must think like Terricolas as one, as a human species, not as individuals, we must put aside the wars that benefit a country and unite us all and keep peace in the world to be one, progress as a species, make this world a better place....
