Political system in Islam 2

in #religion6 years ago

Hi guys, I've discussed some point on the political system of islam, if you haven't read it yet, you may check it out here
Now I'll also be making another point on Islamic political system and why it's good to practice it

Equality of human being

There's no allowance for racial and tribal sentiment in Islam.
The Quran says:

o men! Behold, we have created you all out of a male and a female, and have made you into nations and tribe,so that you might come to know one another. Verily, the noblest among you in the sight of Allah is the one who is deeply conscious of Him. Behold, Allah is the all knowing, All aware (Quran 49:13

The prophet also reported to have said:

no arab has any superiority over a non Arab, nor does non Arab have any superiority over a black, or the black man has any superiority over the white man, you're all the children of Adam and Adam was created from clay. (bayhaqi)

This racism and tribalism exist everywhere even on blockchain, where you see a race supporting their brother, even when they know that what's he's doing is bad, this doesn't bring any good to the society and humanity, it only brings hatred amongst us, and that's why Islam preach against it, in order to be a Muslim, you must see everyone as your brother, no matter the race and tribe, and if you see someone from your tribe or race doing a bad thing to other tribe, you guys should make him realize that what he's doing is bad..

Right to basic neccesity of life

The Quran affirm the duty of Muslim to help anyone in need:-

and in their wealth, there is an acknowledged right for the needy and destitute Quran 51:12)

This injunction makes it binding on Muslim to help the down trodden, whatever their religion, through zakat or sadaqar to assist them in any other way, preferably so that they can become self-supporting

The prophet further said that the Islamic state should support those who are in need and without support.

the head of a state is the guardians of him who has nobody to support him (Abu dawud and tirmidhi) some of the righteous caliph used to go around personally to ensure that people's basic needs were being met, those who could not provide for themselves were helped from the public treasury.

equality before the law

It's a fundamental right of every person to be given fair and equal treatment in accordance with the law.

Whether rich or poor, powerful or weak, he or she is to get a fair hearing and fair treatment, it was recorded that a woman of noble family was arrested for theft, and the case was brought before the prophet. The woman family persuaded a close companion of the prophet to intercede with him on behalf of the woman so as to avoid bringing shame on them, but the prophet replied:

the nation's that lived before you were destroyed by Allah because they punished the common man for his offence and let the dignitaries go unpunished d for their crimes, I swear by him who holds my life in his hand that even if fatima(the daughter of Muhammad) had committed this crime, I would make her go through the punishment she deserved.

Moreover those who have to decide cases are warned In the Quran not to be prejudiced against any person who may come before them

O you who have attained to faith! Be ever steadfast devotion to Allah, bearing witness to the truth in all equity, and never let hatred of anyone lead you into the sin of deviating from justice, be just;sis the closest to God-consciousness (Quran 5:)

This is one of the problem the world is facing today, every lawyer has become a liar, especially here in Nigeria, where poor man steals $1 and jungle justice will be passed on him, and a rich man steals millions of dollar and will be hailed, and if he eventually get caught, he'll bribe the lawyer and go scotfree

Islamic administration is therefore to uphold absolute justice for all its citizen, whatever their religion or ethnic group
