In a sense, I would agree with you. Religion is a system of faith and worship, and many parts of that system are developed by humans and their belief system becomes shaped by those systems. However, the relationship with Jesus Christ extends beyond the inadequacies of what human systems can impose. The connection then with the human mind comes from an external source, God, the Creator of the mind. Anything developed apart from God will perish.
