I talked about how fear made the man with one talent to go and bury his gift, in Matthew 25:24

He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’

Fear made him bury his talent, incapacitated his ways of thinking and limited his full potential. You cannot enjoy a supernatural breakthrough or success until you deal with fear. Fear is not a bad thing, it is okay to fear but never let it stop you on your path. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the presence of fear, yet the will goes on. You cannot breakthrough until you break down that fear that is holding you back.

Some people are afraid of commitments. This is why you will see a guy or a lady play the person that has been loyal to them all this while. Some people are afraid of criticism; this is why they are surrounded by only those who will say yes to them and the main reason why they haven’t grown more than they should. Whatever you are afraid of will gain that power over you unless you learn how to control it. When a defining moment comes, define the moment or else the moment will define you.

Darkness has no real meaning. Darkness is the absence of light and light is an energy while fear has no real meaning too, but lack of faith.

I heard a story of a man who was looking for a job but God asked him to go and price a car. He was confused because he felt the job was more important than the car but he had to listen, so he went. He was pricing a car which he has no money for when a rich man walked in and wanted to pick the car he was pricing, which happened to be the only one there. The rich man begged this man to release it to him so he can use it for their anniversary as it was a special request by her. The rich man told the man if he can release it to him, he will pay for any other car he is willing to pick, and that was how that man walked away from that place with a car he didn’t buy, nor the car he had a budget for. If he had allowed fear to hold him back from going, He would never see God work that way. Let go of your fear if you want to see God at work. God appreciates people with faith and this was why He regarded Abraham as His friend. Maybe you haven’t seen God move in that direction because you are allowing your fears to hold you down.
