The purpose of life

I've been asking my friends on social media about the purpose of life. Most answers, are "from within." I tend to agree with this. Others, say "God."
In my previous writings, I mention enlightenment comes from your own intelligence, not what others tell you. Rules exist to control, to civilize, but a revolutionary thinker may break those rules or ideological box that society has thus pressured the said villain or hero.
Whether a person chooses to do virtuous or vicious acts depends on an individual's perceived free choice. So I say, whether you believe or don't believe in free-will, try to do good work!re
