Its time to put away childish things
So much of our history has been dictated by relgion it almost makes me sick. Countless wars have been fought and endless amounts of blood spilled in the name of the gods. The vatican preaches about wealth equality but sits on tons of gold and priceless items or documents. The world has been controlled by relgion for ages it is a tool to ease the population and give them the rules the powers that be want us to live by.
Religion has always morphed ever so slightly to match the needs of the population it serves.
But humanity has grown and we no longer need superstition. But we do need to break the control it has over a vast population
That's the reality and is very true. Now, what can we do? Sometimes, we can't do something but to watch it happening.
Unfortunatly youre right we can only do so much. Just be as real as you can with people maybe itll catch on....Focus on your youngs upbring when you have. The key to any big change is the next generation.
Science and faith operate on different planes, my friend!
Doesn't change the blood that has been spilled in the name of various gods is about on par with the destruction governments of the world have caused. I dont understand how Godly people can hate so much just because of a different god. I dont need a god to be a good person, and its sad that many people need the threat of eternal damnation to be decent. Not to mention ive been in many churchs I was religious at one point and the majority ive met or horribly hippocritical. This isnt about science but human life....maybe if people got up off of their knees for change we could fix this planet....but they would rather leave it to god...and as it gets worse and worse take no responsibility just claim it was in gods plan. Get real.
