The Power Of Christ Compels You To Embrace Your Liberty!

I am not a Christian, though I was raised one.
I am not a statist either, though, I was raised one of those too.
It is kind of strange that I learned more about language,
reason, and philosophy in church than I ever did at state school.

Maybe that is not so strange.
It is strange that what I learned at church was the same knowledge
that allowed me to reason my way out of church.
There were other benefits. I learned to read and write before I went to school.
This was so I could read the Bible.

As a result, I had no problems at all reading Beowulf in old English
or Shakespeare, in it's original form. It never occurred to me until later,
why so many of my classmates had such problems with Shakespeare.
This was a benefit of being raised on the King James Bible.

The benefits go further.
I can understand how some of the concepts
that are authoritarian came out of the monarchies of Europe,
but I never was fooled by some of the concepts,
from the time I gained comprehension of what
the philosophy behind the Constitution of the United States of America means
in relation to the logic of philosophy.

When I first came to this understanding, it was at a very rudimentary level.
Still it is one of the things that has stuck with me all these years,
these are the verses the church people used to show
why we should always obey the government.

In the book of Mark chapter 12 and verse 16 and 17 it says,

“And they brought it (a coin). And he saith unto them,
Whose is this image and superscription?
And they said unto him, Caesar's.
And Jesus answering said unto them,
Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's,
and to God the things that are God's.
And they marvelled at him.”

In the book of Romans chapter 13 verses 1 and 2 it says,

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.
For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power,
resisteth the ordinance of God:
and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.”

and suddenly, you say to yourself, what the f#ck?
Did I just walk into the morning sermon or what?

No, you didn't. Just wait for it.
You see, in the law of The United States of America, the ultimate authority comes,
not from God, and not From the government but,
from consent of the governed. The power comes from We the People,
within the limits of our natural rights derived from the natural world.
So, what it comes down to, in this country is,

WE THE PEOPLE ARE CAESAR!

RENDER UNTO US WHAT IS OURS!

AND IF YOU RESISTETH,

RECEIVE UNTO YOURSELF DAMNATION!

Can I get an Amen?

Their name is Legion, for they are many.

"Guilty, before almighty God. Guilty, before His son. Guilty, before the whole human race.

It's the Lord who expels you. He who is coming to judge both the living and the dead."

"God himself who commands you..."

Just watch what "we the people" are doing in the upcoming American election. Be careful what you wish for. The tyranny of the majority is out of control. This is the whole point of history showing that all man made governments will fail.

As it was in the days of Samuel, so shall it be yet again this election:

Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord. And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day—with which they have forsaken Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also. Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them.”

So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who asked him for a king. And he said, “This will be the behavior of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots. He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties, will set some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers. And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants. He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage, and give it to his officers and servants. And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men, and your donkeys, and put them to his work. He will take a tenth of your sheep. And you will be his servants. And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the Lord will not hear you in that day.”

Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, “No, but we will have a king over us, that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.”

And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he repeated them in the hearing of the Lord. So the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed their voice, and make them a king.” -- 1 Samuel 8

...Except that, these days, the king takes half our sheep.

This is why The United States of America have a constitutional republic, not a democracy. The people have all freedoms possible, and they use it to take the freedoms of their fellows. The mob are going to be mightily surprised if they continue to threaten the rights of the individual. i have no use of a king, and if the people are going to do away with individual rights, i have no use of them either. The dragon will not prevail. The roaring wrath of the devil is a comical spasm, no more than the flailing of an infant in tantrum. The decision of the people is at hand. The people will do what is right, or they will cease to do. i have no more patience for their foolishness.

amen!
(checks for lightning) ok im good
amen brother, preach on!

i thought about putting a lightning pic at the end.

Oddly enough, I feel no such compulsion.
Speaking of compulsion...how about that free will thing.
Compulsion would seem to violate the non-aggression principle.

i am glad you are not compelled. we need more free people on this planet. this was more for the great number of mentally enslaved people out there who's churches have been successfully lying to them for most or all of their lives. it was not to be taken seriously by free thinkers.
