A GOOD SACRIFICE

John 3:16
For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life.

A sacrifice is not measured by its size or volume, but how much it cost the one giving that sacrifice.
GOD is not pleased with huge sacrifices but that which comes at a cost.
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering (Gen 4:4).

Do you give the best to GOD? Friend, if what you are giving to GOD is not the best, then forget it. You always give the least or that which is unacceptable to GOD. Remember HE is the One WHO giveth you power to make wealth (Deut 8:18).
*If you truely believe that GOD is the source of all that you have today (Js 1:17), you will never find it difficult to give HIM the best.

• Don't give anything just like Cain (Gen 4:3), but always prepare a good sacrifice for the LORD. Whenever you have the opportunity to give, value it and see if it can be compared to the sacrifice of an only son.

GOD offered JESUS, I pray GOD touches your heart to give your best always to HIS glory.

And HE said, take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering... (Gen 22:2)
