Joseph A Modern Day Man

He had found solace in his faith since he was a boy. Being raised by parents who knew who Jesus was. "Hi" he would say to Jesus every morning as a kid. Growing up with few friends he knew his place in the Kingdom of his God. Making no amends to the people that were around him. He knew who he was by the name that his parents gave him. Making a life of the unusual was how he would interact with people.

The only thing that Joseph could remember was to forgive because he was forgiven. He could remember the time his mother was taken from him at an early age. So he learned that life was short and only as visible to the sight as the wind. Making matters, even more, severe was the fact of the gang territory he was in. So life wasn't easy but his life was already in its path.

Joseph sat on the street corner day after day. Proclaiming that people should turn from their wicked ways. Would anyone listen? Could anyone hear the words that were coming from his mouth? He cried out to the people to change their ways before the coming of the LORD. He found no remorse in how he acted in front of the people. He felt justified to do so no matter the cost. He had run the ran the race and knew his heavily home.

Though one day the police came to arrest him for disorderly conduct. The persecutors were a group of men who bear the burden of Joseph’s words. He would use scripture that he remembered for he had no bible. For he lived on the street because he had no home to go to. He would cry out “repent” he would say to the people “come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.” The police that day were especially harsh to anyone they consider to be hateful toward any group of people.

Having the police surround him he knew the time was coming for his sentence. He knew that he would spend at least ten days in jail for his actions. He was confident that the outcome would be what the LORD would have it to be. Running wasn’t an option. Fear wasn’t a choice he could make. Though his body trembled he was certain that the Creator and His son would make it. For his faith was sincere.

dear readers as you stand on faith today I hope and pray that this will help you out.
