THE DAILY PILL--A BROKEN SPIRIT

Psalm 51:17 The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken Spririt and repentant heart, O God.

The verse above talks about the sacrifice our God will not reject, a sacrifice He can't turn away. This sacrifice is a broken spirit. A crushed spirit, a spirit that has gotten to the dead-end. A spirit that has lost all hope. As humans, at a point in time we get to this point. We get to this point where where we don't know whether there's going to be a way out. We get to that point where we have our backs against the wall. We find ourselves in tight corners and sometimes the only solution is to give up. Sometimes we even get to the point where we think about suicide.

Beloved, today, I came to tell you that only if we would look up to God, the Author and Finisher of our fate. If only we will surrender everything to Him. He is not a man who would lie or go back on His words. He said cast all your burdens on me for I care. As Travis Greene rightly said " when our backs were against the wall, You made a way"
Regardless of how deep we are in sin, no matter the number of times we have failed in this walk of faith, He is telling us to come back to Him. He can't and will not reject a repentant spirit, a remorseful spirit.
He tells us that, if only we will confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. All we've got to do is call out to Him. He is ever ready to take you back, though your sins may be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow if you, YES YOU, call out to Him. He's at the door of your heart knocking, if only you'll let Him in, He will come in and dine with you.

Before I end, I just want you to know, even when we were yet sinners, Christ Jesus died for you and I so we might be saved. Gloory!
