Bless The Lord O MY Soul

You will agree with me that you don't easily make a decision to join a platform like this without making a lot of enquiries. As a newbie, the success stories of @iconnelly, @surpassingoogle, influenced my decision making.

With the hunger and desire for aggressive online evangelism, l shall be UNVEILING THE WORD OF GOD in my blogs. "For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord" Isaiah 11:9 'b'.

SCRIPTURE: Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Psalms 103:2

According to Wikipedia "soul or psyche are the mental abilities of living being: reason, character, feeling, consciousness, memory, perception, thinking etc.

Biblically, Soul consists of the mind, and emotions etc. The seat of soul is the mind. The Psalmist is sharing his secret with other believers: speaking to the inward man, the soul, to bless the LORD.

Why then should we speak to the soul to bless God? The soul will forget when we do not tell it to bless the LORD. The soul is weak and needs awakening by ours speaking to it.

Sometimes, you hear certain Christians complaining frequently; this is a sign that their soul is too weak to remember all the benefits they have enjoyed with the LORD.

As a mortal being, let's take into consideration how we feel when we do someone a favour or help someone in one way or the other without the person in question showing appreciation, how do you feel?and how do you also feel when appreciated for any good did.

There is a saying that when you praise a warrior for what he has done, he will do more. So is our creator. When we thank God for what He has done, He will do more.

As human we owe God praises and thanksgiving for His benefits. ln every situation, whether good or bad, in health or in sickness, there is always a reason to bless the LORD.

How then do we thank God? We thank God for what He has done, for what He is doing and for what He will do.

Remember this: Your current state in life is someone's prayer point. And this brings me to #backtolife-project# As a newbie on steemit, it is my desire to support this project as much as l can touch lives and see that the goal of this great project by@iconnelly become a success.
