God's love is unconditional to the extent that he wants everyone to repent and accept Christ.
(2 Peter 3:9 NIV) The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
(Ezekiel 18:23 NIV) Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?
(Romans 5:8 NIV) But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
But God is also just. God still loves everyone who rejects Christ but God is also just. There's no payment possible for our sins except to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
He also says He hates those that work iniquity. He does have loving kindness, longsuffering, and mercy for us all, but the love of a husband and father He has for His bride...His children. We must turn from sin, and walk after Him.
