THE EARLY CHURCH IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD

The early church used to be a simple religious gathering where there's is no segregation of race and are usually bounded in unity and pastor are always after mantle and not title. People go to church not minding the time they finish the service but now people knows the order of programme and are satisfied with ministers who shy away from the truth.

Gone are the days members go to worship God in an uncompleted building set aside to worship and sit down on termite bitten benches and are happy satisfied worshipping there.

But in our present world, reverse is the case, ministers are now running after title and are now using age for criteria in selection of elders whereas it used to be ****grace****. They have forgotten that anointing is a function of grace and not age and that any minister who is conscious of his title is a traditional ruler.

The church today needs to wake up from it slumber, say no sin because sin is a sinkerwhich makes one stinks before God.

Moreso, ministers of today are no longer ready to pay sacrifice for anointing. They now look for shortcuts to get anointing forgetting the fact sacrifice {prayer and fasting} cannot be sidelined

They have forgotten that there's power in a bended knee....

The church has grown into a money making organization. They extort money 💵 from members and build schools and university from offering and yet make the tuition fee to high for members who paid from the little they had to afford.

Could this be Revival?or religious advancement? or what do we call it?
We had few churches then and there are fewer or no Sin(s) and now we have churches all over the streets and sins are uncountable, politics even in the church, religious favouritsm and educational qualifications.

Those who rush into ministry without waiting for their time of manifestation risk missing the plan of God for their lives. As premature birth of a child is dangerous, so it is with the spiritual.

The church ⛪ today occupies the same position in declaring the message of reconciliation with God to men.
