Programming gross contradictions in society.

Liberal thinkers, because of their commitment to the concept of relative moral truth, have introduced gross contradictions into our society. Here is an example. It is considered murder to attack a pregnant woman and kill the unborn human being but not considered murder to attack the unborn human being directly. Here is another. It is considered, by liberals, bigotry to oppose Sharia law, which allows polygamy for Muslims but it is acceptable to ban polygamy for Mormons. There are more. Women's lib and transgenders in sports.

Here is my point.

When an individual engages continually in behavior that is inconsistent and reflects contradictory premises, it is considered a behavior disorder by mental health professionals as well as members of the individual's circle of friends and family. So what is it called when a society does the same thing?
