How do you let your signifigant other know you care for them????

Life is fast, complicated and often full of unexpected situations. I get it. But how do you let your significant other know that you care for them...even with all the craziness of everyday life? When you are in a relationship you need to navigate all these things and still find ways to let your partner know you care. if you normally stay up until the wee hours of the morning watching movies and your partner asks if you would like to spend time with them and watch something and you are suddenly tired at 10pm....it does not seem like you are putting in much effort or caring at all to spend time with them. Do you do these things? Or do you see that your partner wishes to spend time with you and you try to accommodate? Are you someone who blocks your spouse (personally I think blocking your spouse is NEVER ok unless you are going through a divorce...or want to be going through a divorce) for trying to communicate in text rather then get into a heated argument, or are you the type of partner who hears the other out even if you disagree? Do you like to plan out romantic dates or nights in when you know you will finally have some down time, or are you the type who really does not pay any attention to that sort of thing and would rather jump online and talk to people you never met instead of getting close to a loved one you have not spent any real bonding time with in a while. How do you let your significant other know you love them and want to spend time with them when life gets busy?
