"Don't Be Me"
I got a call from my kid sister very early this morning asking how she can go about setting up an online forum for broken women (yeah, I'm the internet-savvy one in my family. Haha 😂). She needed a trusted hosting company to set up a blog but I suggested starting with a Facebook group first.
Facebook already has millions of her target audience online and it will be easier and much cheaper to reach them and so a group was born. You can check it out here .
I understand her desire to reach out to hurting women and I'm so proud of her. She got separated from her husband three years ago after years of emotional and psychological trauma as well as battery and it's good she wants to connect with women going through or who have gone through the same.
There are a lot of ailing marriages out there. Quite a number of women are being battered and are silent about it. They stay put for the kids or because they lack the financial capabilities to leave such toxic relationships.
Dont Be Me will serve as an escape; a succour for these women. It will also share life experiences of these women so a lot other women can learn from it and know to not make the following mistakes.
This is one group every women - even if you have a happy marriage - should join. You never know when that friend or acquaintance will need the succour they offer.

Ah that is a good cause. I know of someone who also created a group or Facebook page because of the trauma she experienced from being sexually assaulted.
Those who are affected much are the people who usually help out fellow victims. Just like Oprah. Banding together and joining groups is indeed a good thing so everyone can let it out and finally heal from it.
Yeah it is. I know how struggle; how she suffered emotionally and psychologically from this whole thing and it's great she wants to help others in similar situations.
