There are some people that will come into your life in a casual way and be built up while some will come and go like a breeze but their impact stays longer. You don’t need to overlook anyone in your life’s journey. You need to be sensitive to know those who might add value to your life. You don’t need a crowd, you only need vital and important people (even if they are few) in your life’s journey.
2. Connecting relationship:
There are some people you will come across in your life that will connect you to your dreams. They connect you to another person; they show up and serve as a link between what you are looking for and to achieve it.
I once shared a story about a lady I used to be close to. I advise her on her relationship and even encourage her not to give up especially when she felt marriage wasn’t made for her, due to multiple disappointments. I didn’t connect her to her husband hahaha if that’s what you are thinking. I was there to connect her to what she desires and to hold on so she wouldn’t lose it. The moment she got a boyfriend and a serious one at that, she cut me off. At first, I felt bad but then I got to understand that I am just a link to her.
We need to understand that we shouldn’t overplay our relevance in people’s lives. We don’t need to Lord things over them. Once our job is done in their lives, then we need to let them go. When we want people to always come back to us for one help or the other, which is a clear sign that our job is not thoroughly done. Stop feeling bad when they forget you in their moment of relief because it only shows you did a good job that required them not coming back. They have been strengthened so they can strengthen another. You might think they have forgotten you, but deep down, you can’t be erased in their life’s story. They might recommend you, later on, just hold your peace.
