Love is said to be confusing, and this is especially true for
men. Men are fuelled to the eyeballs with testosterone
which leads them easily into the lust phase of falling in
love. During the infatuation stage, men are so fired up on
testosterone that most can't tell which way is up, down
or sideways. Reality, when it hits home, can hit especially
hard. The woman who was so exciting at midnight last
night might not seem anywhere near as attractive next
morning when the sun rises - and not all that intelligent
either. But because the centres for emotion and reason are better connected in a woman's brain - and
she's not out of control on testosterone - she finds it
easier to evaluate whether a man is potentially the right
partner for her. This is why most relationships are ended
by women and why so many men are confused about
what happened. Women are gentle in separation even
when they are dumping a man. In a goodbye letter to
him, some women will finish by drawing a happy face or
saying they will always love him.
