in #relationship7 years ago

Hello it's Kay again, here to continue on what I had started, PREVIOUSLY ON THE FULANI DAMSEL, don't forget to upvote and comment I love y'all. IMG_20171107_114451.jpg

There are no buts I said. "If you also like me too then that's all that matters, don't but me anything biko" she smiled and nodded. Awọn Eyan Baddest(I said to myself) IMG_20180203_021309.jpg

She started sneaking into my quarters, fellow corpers even became aware but they ain't no snitch tho. I would escort her out at nights out of courtesy, I was in love with Yenplu & I could barely believe it tho. She often brought me kunu, zobo and fura at times. I was adding flesh and looking better by the day until one day...
Her sister whom I used to give some money to sometimes caught us together, "Jesu Christu" I screamed internally. "Ina uni kofa" Zainab greeted me, I responded and cornered her before she could speak any further. Aisha came to bring a textbook for me, I forgot it at you guys house. "Tor" 🙄🙄

At this point I know there was going to be trouble inbound so I had to be wise, I called Zainab and told her I really liked her sister and I would love to marry her. "Walahi Ucle Kay me I like you fa, you want Aisha no froblem but you have to do one tiny thing" "What?" I asked, "You will have to change to Muslim" 😦😦

"I should Change to Muslim?" I asked again and she said yes, "that is all?" I asked & she said yes. I told her I was ready right now, she became super excited & said he would call the dad (My boss) to make him aware. My whole life flashed before me in split of seconds. "Tell Mr. AB?" "Right Now?" "Chill fess slow down"

At that point I had to examine & evaluate my life, I had to re-confirm if my Religion, my NYSC, my University degree of which I just graduated with and my whole life was worth the whole stress which I was just about to encounter.

"Is this really the point where I could die for love?" I asked myself. I told her that I needed to inform my church that I needed to convert / change before I proceed.IMG_20180129_071525.jpg

So I called Yenplu and told her what Zainab had said and she confirmed it saying it was the only way, that it's haram for her to marry someone who is an "unbeliever". I tried my best to convince her that religion really meant nothing to our love but the plan didn't work, at this point am like Oh my Yenplu.IMG_20180204_084716.jpg

I imagined the scenario of me telling my boss that I love Yenplu his daughter, or how I tell my family, friends and foes that I have changed to Muslim or how do I live without Yenplu?. Too many questions.IMG-20170918-WA0003.jpg

I didn't stop seeing Yenplu tho, It was finally time to exit Sokoto, I had to make a decision between staying back to fight for my love or I could leave her and go back to Abuja only if heartache won't kill me. She would still come to my room every evening and cry alongside begging that I shouldn't leave her, Chineke nna what will I do like this oooo.IMG_20180127_163602.jpg

Well I decided to take on bold painful step, I packed my bags and left the next morning, it was really painful. Yenplu started calling in the afternoon and I wasn't picking, she kept on calling and when I eventually decided to pick I broke the news to her. She immediately started crying on the phone, tears wanted to drop but the pain was enough to hold it back besides big boys don't cry. I told her I will be back soon (for where)IMG_20180126_084248.jpg

Yenplu kept calling till she later gave up, we had to move on. Skip to 3 years ago, Yenplu got married to an Alhaji as his 2nd wife. She has a kids now.IMG_20180105_212108.jpg
