Yes it is possible to build back trust in a relationship where your trust has once been betrayed, but it's really hard, i will give you few tips that can help build back the trust.
1. It requires hard work, its easier to build trust if you haven't been betrayed, however you can build it even after a betrayal, but have it in mind that it's hard and reqires more effort, you must give room to believe that person again, it might not come instantly but through a gradual process.
2. TRUST is not given or gotten, trust is earned, that implies that you have to earn it, be ready to earn that person trust again. Remember you can't build trust solely, it must be a willingness between the two partners, you need to work hand in hand to rebuild the trust in that relationship.
