Relationship : Concepts, Convolution and solutions?
Understanding Relationship.
Concept!
Relationship is regarded as the way in which two or more people or things are connected, or the state of being connected.
Here i am not concern myself with more people, but just two people- opposite sex.
This type of relationship is indicated by Interpersonal and intimate settings. One thing that governs every relationship is Love. This crowns it all. However, why do so many people experience so much difficulties in their relationship while others find it easy?
The fact is, nothing good comes easy. For every smooth relationship, it is because they have realised the need to be in peace after several stormy days. Hear this, stormy days are never over. It comes very often but your victory depends on how firm you are.
Love can be on different scales and styles. Some of the scales as identified by Terry Hatkoff, a California State University sociologist thus
[Lnk]- Best Friends
This is centered on fondness and deep affection towards your partner.
lnk- Playful
A Feeling evoked by flirtation or feeling challenged.
lnk- Romantic
This kind of love is based on passion and sexual attraction for each other.
lnk- Logical
This is a practical feeling that is based on shared values, religion, ethnicity, background, financial etc. And fixing each other's differences.
lnk- Possessive
Love characterised by Jealousy and obsession. You're too much into each other or one to the other.
lnk- Unselfish
The act of nurturing, kindness, making sacrifice to please each other.
lnkSome forerunners of relationship Convolution
I call this convolutions because it is a severe state of relationship problem. And often destroys relationships faster than one may think.
- Too much of or unrealistic expectations.
Still thinking your partner/spouse is the princess or the knight, and not seeing the 'real' human being. It is by nature for virtually every human to expect when they give. Same way you love someone you want to be loved back. But it is not usually the way we expect that it happens. The worst is when you don't give and you expect so much from the other. When we expect too much from the second side, it becomes a disappointment when things turns out in opposite direction. It hurts so bad.
How do you fix this?
Expect less regardless of how much you be giving.
- Always at the receiving end.
A close couple relationship - so longed for and yet so often bafflingly difficult to achieve and maintain! Issue begins to degenerate when one party tends to take more than they give.
Behe Baba!
Others as may be are :
Infidelity/side affairs/cheating . This includes emotional infidelity, one-night stands, internet relationships (including sexting'), long- and short-term affairs and financial infidelity.
Sexual problems, particularly loss of libido (male and female) and uncertainty about your sexuality or your partner's sexuality. Also could he or she be bisexual?
Significant differences in core values and beliefs.
Life stages - you've 'outgrown' each other or have 'changed' significantly for whatever reason
Traumatic and/or life-changing events.Responses to prolonged periods of stress, such as work-related stress, long-term illness, mental health issues, financial problems, problems with the children, infertility... the list could go on!
Feeling bored in or with your relationship.
Dealing - and coping - with a jealous partner
.Having 'blended' family issues.
Domestic violence, which includes verbal as well as physical abuse: The most serious relationship problem - "My husband doesn't find me attractive anymore", knowing you shouldn't have got married in the first place!
Lack of responsibility from one partner regarding finances, children, health and many other issues.
Addictions - substance abuse, gambling, sex... anything that's become an unhealthy preoccupation.
Excessive reliance on social media, to the detriment of the relationship. For instance so many people rely on facebook quotes and relationship dailies to stay alive, but in fact this is their major problem.
Lack of support during particularly difficult times from your partner and people that matter to you.
Manipulation of, or over-involvement in, your relationships with family and/or friends.
Lack of communication about important matters chores and tasks. It's not only women who complain about this relationship problem!
Perceived lack of concern, care and consideration/attentiveness... feeling like the relationship is one-sided is a big one!
Significant personal disappointments and traumas that lead to a change in relationship dynamics.
Long-term depression or other mental health issues suffered by one partner - or both.
Significant differences in opinion on how to discipline or deal with the children.
Long-term stress, particularly when not taking responsibility for doing something positive to address the cause, or learning how to deal with it if it can't be changed>
An unsupportive partner during pregnancy and/or significant problems after the birth of your baby, or lack of support with child-rearing.
Fix it

Here are some steps for you to fix those worn-out areas in your relationship.
- Analyse your problem and solution and define them.

People go into relationship because of what they want to get out of it. It Pains me to know that now a days, ask 90% of female what they go for in a relationship, they would tell you Money, that Love doesn't exist anymore.
