Be real, be true to yourself
There are so many reasons why relationships dont work and certainly there are reasons why it will work out fine. Some relationships click right from the word go others take a more gradual growth to maturity or fruition. Whichever path you take you're going to experience highs and lows in your relationship, your ability to learn, evaluate, reassess, forgive, knowing when to quit or take the relationship to a new height is of utmost importance.
We all have expectations in life and this is also true in relationships, cracks begin to open up when expectations are not meant or when a particular party or both sides project a false image of themselves thereby giving unrealistic expectations. Of course there are different phases of a relationships and different motives for going into a relationship, therefore I am writing this from the viewpoint of having a long lasting refreshing relationship.
From my experience and observation I believe if we are open and honest from the onset of a relationship we would be saving ourselves, families and society at large a great deal of trouble. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying you should not try and impress your significant half but there are things you want in a relationship and there are things you cant live without in a relationship, so its best if you communicate this to whom you are in a relationship with.
It does not mean you are going to have everything your way, of course there will be compromise from both parties but there are things that are non negotiable like having a violent partner or a manipulative one. Certainly during courting after the initial love or lust it all comes down to you being you, whether you are compatible or not with your partner. A note of warning though do not go into a relationship or marriage because you are being pressured by external forces or because you are in need of a certain status or thing. Believe me it will be a whole different game when you attain that status or get that thing.
What I am trying to say is be real, be yourself, you are unique in your own way, project that to your loved ones and universe and the universe will reward you for it. Being true to yourself is the greatest gift you can give yourself, loved ones and the entire multiverse. So when you meet that man or woman who is true to herself or himself and loves you for being you then I suggest you hold on because you might not get that opportunity again.

Yes bro 100% agree with you is normally said that in relationship two imperfect people coming together to be perfect, we are meant to complement each and not to complain in any little mistake notice from your spouse or friend etc we really need to strengthen our weaknesses in all things, especially our relationships.
