Reiki 1.1 the magic of your hands...
The healing art of touch has long been practiced between human beings;
Shaking hands with at the close of a deal to impart good will...
Hugging a loved one tenderly during one of their life's seasonal hardships...
Holding your belly or head when they ache with pain...
Your human hands serve a higher function than simply to hold and release physical objects. They are the most finely tuned instruments for holding in fact, and their ability to create extends far beyond the physical kingdom.
Another real world example....
Ponder your experience between receiving a wave in contrast with a middle finger.
The hand is the same, and yet the energy is different.
There hands are magnificent tools of expressions. It is with our hands that we sign contracts and offer consent. It is our hands that we use to defend ourselves and those we love. It is our hands that we use to create beautiful visual art, culinary delights, musical musings, homes for our families, etc...
The list goes on
and on
and on...
and yet the majority of our population experience pain from extended time hunched over a smartphone keyboard.
Many years ago in the east, a practice was developed for the purpose of healing others using only the hands. Through devotional practice and outstanding results, this healing method captured the attention of those in search of wellness.
Reiki is its name and it is the most simple yet profound healing method available to humanity at this time. Instead of treating symptoms, which has become so popular in the last age, Reiki aims to completely cure any and all disease. This claim to "cure" is one that no company can insure, and thus lends to the lowly aim of "modern medicine."
Instead of expensive instruments and treatments, I subscribe to the idea that the importance of using the hands to heal is foundational to all medicine. It is the pure desire to heal in fact that brings about all the sequential treatments. But if this magic is forgotten then the healing may never even take place.
How many prescription pills do you have to swallow every morning?
How many surgeries must be performed before wellness is achieved?
How many people become fully well again in the hands of doctors on a pharmaceutical companies payroll?
How often do you hold yourself lovingly?
How often do you tune into the wisdom of your body?
How often do those around you help to create a healing space?
The blinding truth of this whole conversation is that nobody will take care of you unless you first take care of your self.
That self including your
Body
Mind
Spirit
I saw your comment on one of my posts and thought I’d check out your blog. Well-done!
I’ve looked into reiki, but have never had it done. It fascinated me though. Any advice on how to find a good practitioner?
