especially a rhythm that caught my attention for its great spirituality. and it is the:

According to the Rastafarians, Jah blessed, guided and gave life to a woman in Uganda named Muhumusa of the 19th century. Muhumusa inspired a movement of rebellion against the colonial authorities of Africa and the warriors of this movement were called the nyahbinghi, which means "black victory"

Rastafarian lifestyle
It represents the mystical power of the Most High to impart justice throughout the universe. It is through prayer, music and biblical reasoning that the Rastaman sings bingi, calling on the forces of nature to destroy the powers of evil.

Music played in dreadlocks, consisting of drum and song rhythms. The term originates from a group of anti-colonial rebels from Uganda also used to call a type of Rasta celebration in which this music is played. The percussion style takes many borrowed elements from the burru percussions (A percussion style of African origin that developed in the plantations of Jamaica during slavery) and Kumina (it is an Afro-Jamaican religion and practices that include secular ceremonies, dances and music that developed from the beliefs and traditions brought to the island by BaKongo slaves and hired workers, from the Congo region of West Central Africa)

the vast majority of these rhythms refer to a pan-Africanist and black culture as a reaction to the injustices suffered by the African population enslaved by European whites. The recovery of cultural forms prior to slavery is a pillar of the Rasta movement.

tambores

Their rhythms are based on Reggae music, as is the case with the most influential ska band, the Skatalites. It is said that his percussionists revolutionized Jamaican music by mixing the rhythmic parts of Niyabinghi in a complete percussion team, which resumed jazz elements to obtain a totally new form of music, baptized as ska. The rhythms with the Niyabinghi were first implanted by Count Ossie in his musical themes.

Binghi's songs also vary recitals of the Psalms, or also variations of known Christian hymns. The rhythm it carries is 2 strokes and a pause (called by Rastafari as 1-2) in the case of the fundeh; 1 beat for the bass drum and 2 pauses starting with the new dry beat (that is, when the fundeh has 1-2; the bass drum plays 1-2); and the akete guides the other drums with the sound. The touch has the function of achieving meditation in the Rastafari prayer, being also praise to JAH God. Nyahbinghi drums represent the heartbeat.
