Burn tokens and reward with votes?
Certainly when burning tokens, most of the time it affects the value of this in a positive way, but if there is something that helps more is the value of the token, the utility, in this case is accepted as a means of payment in some places in Jamaica, and that is something that few crypto currencies enjoy. Expanding its use, making more people want to stake it and compensating others seems to me to be a better strategy.
@oduoye, I agree with @josevas217 here.
For some tokens, burning is the right route, but #jahm has a use case and only a 100m will be created. It will earn its own value over time.
But I think you should get a big stake of jahm, though :) hehe
