It’s been a minute since we heard something new from Maxie Priest. It’s excellent that he teamed up with Shaggy for this one.
“I’m alright l” is a vibzy track about feeling good through the power of music, letting go and just being one with the music in the moment. The Riddim is uptempo with strong reggae accents, easy to mix in with the top 100 pop tunes. To have these two reggae stars on the same track is a big deal for sure.
The smoothness of Maxie’s voice and the ruggedness of shaggy’s makes a good combination. The feel good lyrics do exactly that , make you feel good.
Be sure to give this one a listen. It has that hit feel to it. With a familiar voice like Shaggy’s, Maxie is also sure to reach a younger generation of music lovers who may not be familiar with the “wild world” and “ close to you” singer who crossed over into main stream years ago.

True, Shaggy voice is one I love anyday anytime. The song is doped by the duo.
